Buffer not avail ( _AiBLog-NoBufAvail ) - Number of times a process had to wait for an empty AI buffer because all AI buffers were full.
DB BI ACTIVITY INFORMATION ( _ActBIlog )
Busy buffer waits ( _BiLog-BBuffWaits ) - Number of times a process had to
wait because one of the BI Buffers (-bibufs) was busy (in use by another process).
Empty buffer waits ( _BiLog-EBuffWaits) - Number of times a process had to wait for a BI buffer to be emptied because all of the BI Buffers (-bibufs) were full.
DB BUFFERS ACTIVITY INFORMATION ( _ActBuffer )
LRU skips ( _Buffer-LRUSkip ) - Number of times a buffrer on the LRU (Least Recently Used) chain was passed over because it was locked or modified.
LRU writes ( _Buffer-LRUWrts ) - Number of blocks written to make space available in the buffer cache for a read operation.
DB RECORDS LOCKING ACTIVITY INFORMATION ( _ActLock )
Share waits ( _Lock-ShrWait ) - Number of times a process waited for a share-lock.
Exclusive waits ( _Lock-ExclWait ) - Number of times a process waited for an exclusive-lock.
Upgrade waits ( _Lock-UpgWait ) - Number of times a process waited for a lock upgrade.
Rec Get waits ( _Lock-RecGetWait ) - Number of times a process waited for a record get lock.
Requests cancelled ( _Lock-CanclReq ) - Number of cancelled lock requests.
ExclFind ( _Lock-ExclFind ) and ShrFind ( _Lock-ShrFind ) - The number of times an attempt was made to downgrade a lock (EXCLUSIVE or SHARE accordingly) BECAUSE the server determined it didn't satisfy the query. This value could be used for performance purpoces to determine how many records get read and then discarded without even being seen by the client to satisfy the query. A very high number here might indicate a poorly formed query or the need for a new index.

( _LockReq-RecWait ) - Number of times the process had to wait to acquire a record lock.
( _LockReq-TrnWait ) - Number of times the process had to wait to acquire a transaction lock.
( _LockReq-ExclFind ) - Accumulated total for all _ActLock._Lock-ExclFind.
( _LockReq-ShrFind ) - Accumulated total for all _ActLock._Lock-ShrFind.
