What is 3PRO package?
More info
PRO4m is available for the Progress v9 and v10 Provision version, on Win 95/98/NT/2000/XP.

Both PRO4m LITE and PRO editions are distributed in the same download package.

Evaluation copy is a PRO4m PRO edition with all features included.

3PRO package is the package of three different products integrated into the one single product and it includes all the PRO4m project files, Prolint source code and Proparse setup.

Prolint is a free, open-source tool written in Progress 4GL, authored and maintained by Jurjen Dijkstra and available free from his website. Prolint uses output of another program (included into the 3PRO package too) - Proparse. Proparse is not a free utility and has to be purchased after the 30 days evaluation period. Proparse is a product of Joanju Limited. PRO4m and Proparse payments are separate issues.

Both programs (Proparse and Prolint) can be included/excluded by you from the 3PRO installation process during the installation time.

PRO4m can be used both in 3PRO package and independently.

Prolint and Proparse can be used both within the 3PRO package and independently.

Proparse has to be used for the Prolint project as a mandatory option.

PRO4m Evaluation copy differences

There is no source code difference between the PRO4m Evaluation and the Registered Versions. It has exactly the same distributive, which you can download from this page.

PRO4m behavior depends on the Confirmation ID entered by you in the PRO4m Registration Window. You can easily get the FREE 15-days Evaluation Version Confirmation ID from the Registration Page.

The difference between the Evaluation and the Registered Versions is that the Evaluation Version prints the following message on every HTML report page:

"EVALUATION COPY.
NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE."

When you have Purchased and Registered your PRO4m with new Confirmation ID, this message will disappear on all newly generated reports.

Evaluation Version is restricted by given information limitation, i.e. Integrity and Performance pages (up to 5 items will only be displayed), Project Modules List and Database Tables List (1/3 of your project modules and database tables accordingly will be only included into the project reports).

PRO4m won't delete any of its files after the expiration date, however you won't be able to use the Evaluation PRO4m version on the same computer.
